We loved the property amenities, location and staff. Right on the expansive beach, soft sand, with chairs, umbrellas and a tent in grassy area right on beach. Lots of food options for onsite or very nice restaurant 150 yards down the beach. Short walk or cheap taxi to town. Staff was outstanding and helped us in so many ways and with nice extras. Rooms very nice and all well kept and maintained. Recommended tours were excellent. Highly recommend!.

Excellent Family Trip

Amazing wedding and vacation!

My fiance and I were looking for a venue for our destination wedding and we came across Hotel Nine on VRBO. Based on the reviews and a few good conversations with one of the owners, Jack, we reserved Casa 9 for 10 days, which included hosting the wedding on day 3 of the trip.

Despite doing all the wedding planning via email and WhatsApp, the wedding planning went very smoothly! Geoff, the other owner, and Francis, the hotel manager (he is the greatest!) understood our vision, obtained bids from vendors, and finalized all the contracts with the vendors. The wedding was beautiful and was exactly what we dreamed of! It was a little nerve-wracking not having seen Hotel Nine in person (and having 70 guests coming to the wedding), but the beach and hotel are even more beautiful in person than in the photos. The beach has the most amazing sunsets, which made for a beautiful backdrop for the ceremony and reception. Due to the high tide the ceremony couldn’t be on the sand, but in hindsight, I’m glad it was on the concrete area of the Hotel so that guests didn’t have to deal with the sand, but could still enjoy the beautiful scenery.

After the wedding we enjoyed 7 days with 30 of our guests who also stayed at Hotel Nine (Geoff and Francis also helped manage overflow accommodations since all 70 wedding guests couldn’t fit at Hotel Nine). I can’t say this enough, but Francis is the greatest! He helped with booking excursions, shuttles, dinner reservations, and even coordinated beer deliveries! He was attentive and amazing!

Overall, our wedding really was the best wedding ever, and it wouldn’t have been possible without Jack, Geoff, and Francis. The entire 10 days at Hotel Nine was an incredible experience that we will cherish forever.

AMAZING DOESN’T EVEN DESCRIBE THE EXPERIENCE!

Where to begin, Geoff helped us find this place after contact online and he was not wrong about it fulfilling our needs. Before we arrived, Marcel(the concierge) was a valuable resource for scheduling everything from the transportation to the littlest desire. Once we arrived, the house was even more than we had hoped for! Usually, pictures overshoot reality. But here at Casa Nine, the pics didn’t come close to doing it justice. And that is just the beginning. Marcel attended to every need we had during our stay. From a malfunctioning AC unit which was fixed quickly to making every reservation we needed. He even added a few excursions in that we didn’t know about but were enjoyed by all. And the man makes a mean Pina Colada(fresh as it can be too)! The pool was amazing and we all enjoyed it! Dinner with Chef Maykol was great the two nights we had him. Our desire to sample local fare was the only reason we didn’t go for more nights but certainly would have been happy to have more meals from him. They even got a cake to celebrate my belated Birthday. Ana, the housekeeper did a great job and even salvaged my rash guard which i thought was ruined by doing her magic. Looks like brand new! Massages on the balcony were great. We had the absolute best vacation and are already talking about coming back. If you are wanting to go to Jaco in a large group, then Casa Nine is your place and Marcel is your guy!

WHAT AN AMAZING PLACE!

We have traveled all over the world and this was our favorite place to stay. The location is beautiful right on the beach with a private area! Amazing big rooms with a central pool and bar location. Lots of deck space to relax. The staff was THE BEST! Marcel is a life saver and will go above and beyond for any group to make any request happen! Took so much stress off of us for bookings and setting everything up! Make sure to take extra cash as there’s a lot of things you will need it for! 10 stars for this place we want to come back right away!

40th Bday Fun

30 people at Casa 9 for a week to celebrate birthdays and we couldn’t have asked for a better time! Loved everything and everyone. Talking about going back and taking our kids. 🙂

Perfect Villa!! Accommodation in this Villa is better as in expensive 5 star luxury Hotel!! The villa looks newly built and has a high class interior and design plus fantastic view to the ocean and mountains ! Very clean! And very helpful staff!! Thanks Askel!! The location is perfect- next to the ocean, as a lovely place for serfers, but 10-15 minutes to drive (taxi aprox 5 usd) and you are in Jaco main street with small shops and beach with a fantastic restaurants! As well walking distance from Villa in ocean side are two great beach restaurants Vista Hermosa and Vida Hermosa! Just might want to stay here longer!!!

This wasn't our first experience renting a vacation home, but I have to say this home was just amazing! We were so happy with our choice with Hermosa Villa. The house is beautiful, modern and comfortable. Amazing experience in an amazing house in front of Hermosa Beach. With luxury features in every inch of the house, great and spacious rooms each with it's own personal bathroom!! The house was exceptionally clean and extremely well stocked!!! The kitchen was amazing and we enjoyed cooking together. The property manager responded to our questions immediately, we were well taken care of. I will stay here again!
